An award-winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an Architectural Technician to join its Exeter studio. This role is ideal for someone with around 2+ years’ experience who is looking to develop their technical skills within a supportive and well structured practice.

Projects span residential, education, healthcare and commercial sectors, providing a broad technical grounding early in your career.

The Role & Responsibilities:

• Supporting Architects and Technologists with the production of technical drawings and construction information
• Assisting with planning applications and Building Regulations submissions
• Producing drawings, details, plans, sections and schedules under guidance
• Coordinating basic technical information with consultants and internal teams
• Attending site visits and assisting with responses to technical or site queries
• Supporting the preparation of NBS specifications
• Working within agreed quality standards, deadlines and project procedures

 Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience working as an Architectural Technician within a UK practice
• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
• Strong technical drawing skills and good attention to detail
• Some experience or understanding of Building Regulations and construction processes
• Keen to learn, develop and progress professionally
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
